The history of Cat Electronic
Since 1978, CAT Electronic has grown alongside the evolution of consumer electronics.
From a small 100 m² workshop we have become a key reference for technical support and after-sales services for some of the most important brands on the market.

1978
CAT ELECTRONIC IS FOUNDED
In Melegnano (MI), the company is founded in a 100 m² workshop dedicated to audio-video repairs and antenna systems.
1980
THE PARTNERSHIP WITH SONY
We immediately become an authorized service center for major brands such as ITT, Telefunken and Sony
1990
GROWTH BEGINS
We move to a new 250 m² workshop and expand our service partnerships with Toshiba, Sharp, Nordmende and Saba
1992
THE PARTNERSHIP WITH SAMSUNG
We become an authorized service center for several provinces for a brand that was just entering the Italian market and would later become a market leader: Samsung
1996
FIRST EXPERIENCE AS NATIONAL SERVICE PROVIDER FOR SHARP
The company continues to grow and expand its services, investing heavily in training. We launch our first experience as National Service Provider for Sharp
2004
A NEW HEADQUARTERS TO EXPAND OUR SERVICES
We move to new premises of over 1,100 m² with laboratories, offices and more functional logistics areas
2009
ISO 9001 CERTIFICATION
We choose to invest in the continuous improvement of our processes, obtaining ISO 9001:2015 certification, which we still proudly maintain today
2010
NATIONAL SERVICE PROVIDER FOR SONY
We become National Service Provider for Sony for TV sets, professional displays, audio and video products, creating and managing the “Network CAT Electronic” service network with over 130 authorized service centers in all Italian provinces.
2016
NATIONAL SERVICE PROVIDER FOR TCL
TCL also chooses us as Service Provider for its TVs, monitors and audio products, with after-sales service managed through our network throughout Italy
2020
NATIONAL SERVICE PROVIDER FOR PHILIPS TVS
TP Vision, the company that manufactures Philips-branded TV and audio products, entrusts us with the management of after-sales service for their products at national level
2020
NATIONAL HISENSE SERVICE AND INSTALLATION CENTER
After launching its innovative Laser TVs on the market, HISENSE entrusts us with nationwide after-sales service and installation for Laser TVs. We also become the single national point of reference for Hisense projectors
2021
NATIONAL SERVICE CENTER FOR SAMSUNG PROJECTORS
We become the sole national reference center for Samsung projector servicing, with units collected at our laboratories from the entire service network
2022
TCL EXTENDS OUR ROLE TO SMALL APPLIANCES
In addition to TV and audio products, TCL extends our role to small domestic appliances, in particular robot vacuum cleaners and air purifiers
2024
THE NEW HEADQUARTERS IN COLTURANO
Thanks to the company’s growth, we move to a new 3,500 m² headquarters, designed to be even more functional on the logistics side and located in a strategic area near Milan, just 2 km from the A1 motorway, the TEEM and the new A58

NATIONAL SERVICE PROVIDER FOR HISENSE PROFESSIONAL DISPLAYS
Hisense entrusts us with national-level B2B after-sales service for professional displays and interactive whiteboards

NATIONAL SERVICE PROVIDER FOR SHARP PROFESSIONAL DISPLAYS
SHARP also chooses us to manage nationwide B2B after-sales service and installation for professional displays and interactive whiteboards
Today CAT Electronic operates from its new 3,500 m² headquarters in Colturano, which brings together laboratories, offices and logistics areas designed to support a network of over 130 service centers across Italy.
Working with brands such as Sony, Samsung, Philips, TCL, Hisense and Sharp has allowed us to develop specific technical expertise, structured processes and dedicated services for both manufacturers and local service centers.
Our story continues from here: by combining experience, technology and structured process management to deliver a reliable, measurable service that meets the expectations of our partners.
